• The genera Dipsomyia Bezzi and Zanclotus Wilder are reviewed and Hydropeza gen. nov. is described, all assigned to the Ragas genus group. Hydropeza longipennae (Miller) comb. nov. and Z. wilderae sp. nov., and the male of D. chloropa Bezzi also are described. Male and female terminalia and mouthparts are illustrated and key to genera provided. The phylogenetic relationships between members of the Ragas-group and Hormopeza Zetterstedt are analysed, with Ragas Walker and Zanclotus considered sister-genera.
