The Sepsidae (Diptera) from Sulawesi, Indonesia, with Descriptions of Six New Species

Twenty species belonging to seven genera of Sepsidae (Diptera) are reported from Sulawesi, Indonesia. Of them, six species, Meroplius wallacei sp. nov., Dicranosepsis cavernosa sp. nov., D. nigrinodosa sp. nov., D. mirabilis sp. nov., D. montana sp. nov. and Toxopoda sulawesiensis sp. nov., are described as new to science. Four species are newly recorded from Indonesia. The sepsid fauna of Sulawesi is discussed and a key to the species is provided.
