The autapomorphies of each species group are redefined, and characters illustrated. The following four new species are described from Japan : A. solida sp. nov., A. ampla sp. nov., A. destituta sp. nov. and A. clavula sp. nov. A key is provided for species groups and Japanese species of Actia, and local host records are listed.
