Six specimens of large echinostome, Echinostoma gotoi ENDO et OZAKI, 1923, were found from the large intestine of a Japanese crane (Grus japonensis) which was given by Mr. M. KUROKAWA, taxidermist in Osaka. He said that this crane died after short keeping in a certain zoological garden in Hyogo Prefecture. This species was first found from the intestine of the rat (Mus norvegicus ERXLEBEN) and was named by ANDO and OZAKI in 1923, and after that, the crow was added by S. KURISU (1931) in Okayama Prefecture and S. ONO (1935) in Mukden, as the host of this species.
