概要
- 論文の詳細を見る
Lymphoid cells resembling mammalian lymphocytes were found in the peripheral blood and also in the epithelial layer of the intestine and gills of the hagfish, a thymusless vertebrate. These findings may provide a high possibility of the existence of true lymphocytes in the hagfish, though further research is necessary.
