Partial titration of SH groups of myosin B by PCMB (0.6moles/10^5g myosin B) resulted in loss of the Ca sensitivity and an increase in the generation of tesion by myosin B fibers in the presence of 0.06M KCl, 8mM MgCl_2 and 6mM ATP.
