Development of Large Screen LCD to Intelligentized Protection Device in Power system

Large screen point-array LCD is firstly used as human-machine conversation interface when inputting and displaying necessary parameters to intelligentized protection device in power system. LCD screen is divided into main-/sub- windows. Main-window visualizes main hookup of protectiorl object by graphical interfaces and some electric values in real time. Five sub-windows separately is test, state, affair, set and value, which can be easily converted each other by four direction keys. Test-window has all initial sample value. State-window displays some fault signal and corrects time. Total 16 affair records in affair-window finely satisfy field and fault analysis. Set-window has 16 third class windows, which offer interface to interfaces can be amended and added easily to satisfy requirement of different protection elements. Rigorous testing shows that it is safe and reliable to use large screen LCD in this device. It is a great support to introduce large screen LCD for realizing four 'remote function' in power system.
