• The broad diversified infrastructure for basic researches and manufacturing of electroluminescence, vacuum fluorescent, plasma, liquid crystal and other types of flat panel displays is existing in the Former Soviet Union (FSU) countries. The maim goal of this paper is the characterization of present place and role of LCD'S technology, in particular, in Russia, Belarus and Ukraine.
