We have proposed the new rewritable system using the media of high contrast, high whiteness, high resolution, and flexibility. The media is composed of non-magnetic white particles and magnetic black ones in the insulative micro-cells. These particles produce black and white images by means of the electric toner-migration with the alternating magnetic field. The magnetic field agitates the magnetic particles strongly. The strong agitation permits the high packing density (PD) with no debasement of the toner-migration rate, therefore the high PD can increase the image quality without the lack of hiding, the deviation of particles, and so OR The another characteristics is that this media has no electrode and, thus, produces images by the converted laser beam printer. The high resolution of the photo-conductor makes the image high resolution on the media. We report the characteristisof this device and the output image of the media using this device.
