• It is difficult to measure the electromagnetic scattering of large objects at very high frequencies. For the comparability of acoustic wave and electromagnetic wave, the scattering of acoustic hard object can be used to simulate the electromagnetic scattering of metallic object. Because the wavelength of acoustic wave is much shorter than that of electromagnetic wave, the measuring system can be constructed at lower frequencies. The feasibility of the simulation measuring system has been discussed in theory and experimental results are given in this paper.
