Recently Lalanne and Morris reported improvement in convergence for coupled-wave approach considering TM modes in lamellar grating. The same improvement was lately described by Granet and Guizdal in [2]. The general rigorous explanation was written by Li. In this paper he stated three theorems about proper using of Fourier factorization, but an examples he gave concerned only isotropic case. We tried to apply these theorems in the anisotropic case on formalism originally published in [4] by Rokushima and Yamakita.
