• We have proposed a new database search method based on the locality of database access requests for a distributed Scrvice-Control-Platform (SCP) that is applicable to various types of mobile communication services. The method has both unicast and multicast functions for inter module communication in the SCP and uses unicast to access more frequently referred user data, while multicast to access less frequently referred user data, according to a control parameter value S in the database access distribution approximated by Zipf's law. We have shown through quantitative evaluations the method has higher scalability than existing similar methods.
