• A new built-in type antenna has been proposed. The antenna is a low profile monopole antenna with a half wavelength element as a top load and the element is attached at offset position from its center. Therefore this antenna is a kind of a microstrip dipole and operates at a parallel resonance mode. The validity of the antenna is clarified by a simulation and measurement using the 2 GHz band terminal model, and these results show that this antenna controls an unnecessary radiation from a current on a terminal case without a balun.
