The value distribution of the partial autocorrelation of periodic sequences is important for the evaluation of the sequence performances when sequences of long period are used. But it is difficult to find the exact value distribution of the autocorrelation in general. Therefore we derives some properties of the partial autocorrelation for binary m-sequences which may be used to find the exact value distribution.
