We introduce a new video user interface with spatially seamless interaction and describe concrete implementation techniques. The video interface is realized using the video contents and context structure extracted automatically from the contents. The video interface visualizes the video contents and context structure comprehensibly to allow us to access video spatiotemporal information intuitively. In this paper, camera operation information, the spatial relationship between video shots and object information, are used to realize the new video interface. We visualize each video shot as a panoramic scene space and the trace object motion. The video user interface implements several space-based play back modes, 1)panoramic play back, 2)spatial domain play back and 3)temporal domain play back. The proposed video interface can support the synthesis of several video shots, and allows us to grasp the scenes intuitively.
