• α-Bungarotoxin (α-BGT) binding capacity on slide-mounted brain sections which had been fixed with 4% paraformaldehyde (PFA) or periodate-lysine-paraformaldehyde (PLP) was determined by quantitative light microscopic autoradiography using radioiodinated toxin. The results are consistent with our previous data obtained by a biochemical method on tissue homogenate. This is a new methodology for estimation of α-BGT binding capacity in brain regions of a limited area.
