Digital skin temperature biofeedback training was administered in the condition of directly comparing two kinds of distribution of practice (massed practice versus spaced practice). The two Experiments (I and II) were designed with same apparatus and procedure except for an increase task in Experiment I and a decrease task in Experiment Il. Eighteen undergraduates were assigned to the massed or spaced practice groups in each experiment. Skin temperature changes through biofeedback training suggested the superiority of massed practice to spaced one. Comparing strategies used by subjects indicated that strategies used in massed group were more concrete and integrative. These findings were discussed in terms of a learning aspect of skin temperature biofeedback training as a learning by discovery.
