With this report we want to describe a period in the life of Mrs. Tamara Klepinin who belonged to the circle formed around N. Berdyaev. For this purpose we have researched source, especially conversations of the author with her and letters exchanged between the two. Since the author met Mrs. T. Klepinin for the first time in 1968 during a visit to the YMCA Press in Paris, he has been corresponding with her for about 20 years. When she was employed by the YMCA at the beginning of 1930, Russian intellectuals were already in action in areas such as YMCA, the Russian Student Christian Movement and the "Orthodox Action". Soon Mrs. T. Klepinin realized that N. Berdyaev was a leading personality among the intellectuals. To her great delight she could work close to him in the YMCA Press and even live at his home. Among Berdyaev researchers she was regarded as having a very close relationship to Berdyaev, not only because of her last publication "Bibliographie des oeuvres de Berdiaev", but also because of her collaboration on the edition of the works of Berdyaev by the YMCA Press. While she was working there for about 40 years as a secretary, she took part in promoting Berdyaev's works and in spreading his thoughts.
