As developing creativity is important to college education, the experience of creative-dance education will be a good example to support developing creativity. Therefore the purpose of this study is to demonstrate how creative-dance develops creativity. For this purpose, the following experiments were done. Subjects were female junior college students. The 53 subjects experienced the teaching of creative-dance designed by the writer, and 24 subjects did not. All subjects had creativity examinations twice. Two procedures were employed to analyse the data. One was a comparison of the creativity scores between the experienced and non-experienced subjects, and the other was a cluster analysis of subjects to confirm the relation between creativity score, experience of creative-dance education, and positive attitude towards creative-dance. The results were as follows. 1. The creativity score, especially speed and originality score, rose in the experienced subjects, more than that of the non-experienced subjects. This increase is thought to be a result of the creative-dance experience, because the experienced subjects were emphasized to offer original ideas in making dance. 2. The subjects, whose attitude became more negative towards creative-dance, had decreased creativety scores and lower levels. So to raise the creativity score, it is necessary to develop a positive attitude towards creative-dance.
