• An ABC system achieves improved accuracy in estimation of costs by using multiple cost drivers. But using multiple cost drivers may be costly. This paper shows an optimization model that balances savings in information processing costs with loss of accuracy. In the model the weights of the products play an important role. So it examines how to determine the weights.
