In the area of producing an animation from a text-based description such as a drama scenario, the construction of 3D models has been viewed as the major issue. However, it is the image of the 3D model, not the model itself, that provides the audience to an experience of the realism depicted in a given scenario. Discussions on the transformation of a linguistic expression to a pictorial one have ignored this fact. The author addresses this issue by figuring out the primary decision factors that have to be made concerning the camera position and angle to effectively visualize the meaning of a scene in a scenario. Applying the scheme to a simple and short scenario example, the results are shown in terms of several shot images out of the resultant animations.
