• Japanese researchers who are engaging in humanities sometimes need to write Polutonikogreek in Japanese texts, even if they are not specialists of the Western classics. Many of them are using the system of MS WINDOWS to write papers. However, it was very difficult to coexist Japanese and Greek in the word processing on WINDOWS. We can indeed accomplish this purpose, by using the pL^AT_EX2_ε and the Babel package now. But we need to modify several files which are composing the programs because the Babel is developed basically for the L^AT_EX2_ε and not supporting the japanese pL^AT_EX2_ε. I try to explain in detail the method corresponding to the japanese pL^AT_EX2_ε of the Babel, and to show the method typesetting Polutonikogreek in Japanese texts.
