A flow injection system is proposed for the determination of small amounts of hydrogen peroxide using the manganese-catalysed oxidation of Hydroxynaphthol Blue(HNB). The method has a limit of detection of 3 × 10^<-6> M and allows 60 determinations per hour. Simple and rapid determination of glucose can be achieved with immobilized glucose oxidase reactor coupled with this continuous flow system for hydrogen peroxide.
