概要

DNA and RNA were found to enhance the fluorescence of dansylprotamine. This finding was applied to microdetermination of nucleic acids. This method is valid for samples containing 0.1 5.0μg/ml of nucleic acids. Nucleic acids and dansylprotamine were found to bind each other through both electrostatic and hydrophobia interaction.
