The phenomenon of Thermally-Activated Delayed Fluorescence (TADF) is now being exploited to produce analytical techniques of great sensitivity and selectivity. This paper describes the TADF properties of many porphins and xanthene dyes on filter paper. This TADF emission is used as an analytical tool for metalloporphyrins: e.g., chlorophyll c (0.1 ng 〜 μg), protochlorophyll a (ng 〜 μg) and Zn(II) with TPPS_3 (1 〜 162 ppb).
