About 1 mg of sample was decomposed with a mixture of hydrochloric, nitric, perchloric and hydrofluoric acids. Lead, iron, copper, sodium and potassium in NBS No. 89 Lead-Barium Glass and Corning Glass C were satisfactorily determined by the peak height, and the integrated value of a spike-like signal, and by the ratio of the integrated value to the aspiration time, respectively.
