The relationship between 2-methyl-4-amino-5-hydroxymethyl pyrimidine (OMP) and six pyrimidine derivatives with similar structure (IV, V, VI, VII, VIII, IX) was studied by toxicity test with running fit as an index. It was found that these substances suppressed running fits caused by OMP.
