We examined the manufacture of "Hard-Tex" that is combined materials of saw dust by cellulose-nitrate and we compared with mechanical properties on the next 3 kinds of "Hard-Tex".(i) Combined materials of saw dust (20〜60mesh) by 10% cellulose-nitrate solution (Ether Alcohol 11%)…A (ii) Combined materials of saw dust by 20% celluloid solution (Aceton 16%)…C (iii) Combined materials of saw dust by 20% celluloid powder…E Conditions of Pressing;(i) Strength of compression…100kg/cm^2 (ii) Temperature in compressed…165℃ (iii) Times in compressed…20min The properties were shown following (H. T.………Oridinary"Hard-Tex" that is combined materials of sawdust by 10% phenol-formaldehyde resin)[table][table]By this studys we knew the manufacture of good "Hard-Tex" with combined materials of saw dust by celluloid powder.
