1) There was difficult in doing the for-treatment with bark materials of Hiba and Sugi compared with that of other common materials of japanese paper before the use of the special hammer mill that was placed for the sake of this treatment for itself. By this mill, the difficulty mentioned above was omited and the for-treatment was attained with a good result. 2) The wet-beating was most important operation in the process of the manufactures of papers, and this operation was much influenced by the technic of treatment and the function of beater. 3) Sufficient papers were not obtained from the bark materials Only, for the properties of this products were so low in both strength and stiffness, that there was a few practical use of this papers without further improvement. 4) It seems to me that (from the economical and technical point of view) the ratio of the fiber of Koyo, Kuwakawa and woodpulp, mixed to the bark fiber is about 20 percent or more. 5) In the handmade-paper manufacture, there are not only the necessity of more investigating on tools but also on technic. 6) In the manufacture by the yankee paper machine, some improvements that gaved the possibility of making papers including the coarse particles of bar, were done in the wire-part (Vat) 7) The strength of papers prepared (from the barks of Hiba and Sugi) more weaker than that of Hatoron papers, and agreed with that of Kairyo^^--hanshi or Nishinouchis'papers. Resin contained in the (bark) materials itself, gave the natural size effect on the paper. 8) It seems to me that this papers are suitable for the industrial art - industrial - and construction paper but that for the studies have to be done on the process of the manufacture.
