We report the physical realization of periodic networks of micromagnetic dots, coupled by both the exchange and dipolar interactions.A series of samples with different ratios of exchange to dipolar coupling p, were patterned using a focused Ga ion beam (FIB).The parameter p can be controlled by varying the Ga ion beam fluence.Both static and dynamic studies reveal a transition between exchange and dipolar coupled states as Ga fluence is increased.
