The application of "Stress Coat" to analysis of the thin plate mechanicl vibrators, the observation of these two dimensional stress patterlis, and the suggestion to structual design factors of the vibrators. This stress coat painted skilfully to keep the thickness from 0.08 to 0.lmm, dried careflly to maintain one degree per minute up to 75〜80℃ and down to room temperature, bave a certalin crack sensitivity against the suddenly applied stresses alout 3〜25Kg/mm^2 When the static displacement corrspondinsg to the actual amplitude of the vibrator is given instantaniously, we can bind the cracks to grow perpendicular to the direction of main stress and its crack censity refers to the applied 8tress value in addition, those crack patterns can be preserved forever. As a result, stress coat may be verv convinient to grasp renghly but wholly the informations of two-dimensional stress distributions by brom the parallel direction of the vibraton plane.
