We have explained in our last paper (1) that the design parameters in the magnetic escapement could be evaluated. In this paper, another method in which adjustment cofficient, we term, obtained from the measurement of the static torque of the magnetic escapement can be used for analysis is described. and we oftained the following reaults: (1) We got the general static torque T of the magnetic escapement in the following form: T=-Σ^^n__<k=1>ok(γ).sin kzθo k(γ)=Ak_0+Ak_1 (γ-γ_0)+Ak_2(γ-γ_0)^2+・・・+Akn(γ-γ_0)^n Where. A^kj, γ, γ, ,z and θ are adjustment ooefficient, distance from the center of the magnetic wheel to that of the driving magnet, distance from the center of the magnetic wheel to that of medium path, numbers of the teeth and the rotating angle of the magnetic wheel in space. (2) The instantanous and mean torque at synchronous speed in idealized state are given in the simple expressions. (3) The problem of multiple. synchronous speeds and their modes are revealed. (4) It is diclosed that the problem of stability of the magnetic escapement at synchronous speed mathmatically leads to that of stability of solutions in variadle parameter systems. (5) Fluctuation of the load angle is simulated by analog computer and compared with the result oftained by high speed film.
