Digital Temperature Compensated Crystal Oscillator (D-TCXO) has been developed for mobile and portable two-way communication equipments with a ROM table method using MONOS memory that is highly reliable EEPROM. The D-TCXO utilizes a custom designed one-chip LSI that is made up of several remarkable circuit blocks in order to provide temperature performance of ±1 ppm in a range from -30℃ to +90℃. Included in this paper are description of the compensation circuit and the typical performance characteristics.
