Metal Injection Molding is Developping rappidly as the near-net-shape manufacturing technology which can produce small complex-shaped metal parts on mass production basis. SEIKO EPSON Co., Ltd.and KAWASAKI STEEL Co., Ltd.established a company Injex Ltd. We introduce here the outline of this technology with regard to its developments and application of watch casing parts. We have already manufactured stainless steel watch case and bracelet parts such as complex-shaped rotating bezel and original design band parts, and puted them on the market.
