• The interactive file processing system FLXFL (FLexible FiLe) has been developed in order to provide a non-programmer with the capability of describing, storing, and analyzing the data easily and totally by himself. The main operations offered are:General file editing operation; Definition of the record format of a new file;modification of the record format of the Previously created file; Statistical operations, The question-and-answer type interaction with the system makes all the services available to even a user who has never been exposed to any computer related work. FLXFL runs on minicomputer PDP 11/40 with 32k words of memory.
