• This Paper is concerned with the Aitken's δ^2-Process and similar process. The Aitken's δ^2-process is not always successful for the sequence converging linearly. We develop the general theory of the Aitken's δ^2-process, and we deriue effective process even when the Aitken'sδ^2-process fails. As an example of these processes, we consider an application to finding the absolutely largest eigenvalue by the power method. Some test matrices aregiuer.
