In CAD (Computer Aided Design) if the design is not satisfactory at the first trial, the designer modifies the values of design parameters a little and the design calculation is repeated using these modified values. A method is proposed in this paper for finding the appropriate new values of parameters taking fully into consideration the designer's intention; the new values are so found that the deviation of each parameter value from the original is optimum under the condition set by the designer.
