連続可変面制御による交通渋滞制御方式に関する研究

Lately traffic situations have become more and more serious year after year because of the mareed increase in automobile transportation and the urban concentration of traffic demand. A traffic jam in the street-network specially leads to more sperious confusion on account of intersecting traffic at intersections. Therefore,if the traffic demand becomes great,the level of traffic flow should be kept high to prevent the occurence of the traffic jam,qnce the traffic jam accures. It should be swiftly settled and at the same time the confusion at the intersections should be prevented. In the present study the author treats of the following five modes as a method of control: a stoppage mode,a delay mode, a capacity mode,a quene mode and a Jam mode, the present study also deals with the method of automatic traffic jam measurement for the switchover of the modes, together with the examination of the actual effect of the five modes by the control of on-line computer.
