• A pilot-scale anaerobic digester employing a unique mixing method of gas recirculation, which uses the pressure of produced gas as the source of mixing power, was constructed and operated successfully with piggery slurry. No Detrimental effect on gas production rate was found in the laboratory-scale study with this mixing method.
