Phanerochaete chrysosporium INA-12 immobilized with polyurethane foam produced high lignin peroxidase levels in 24-h repeated batch culture when the biomass was partially regenerated on day 5 (40.6 nkat・ml^<-1>). The enzyme synthesis continued at a high level for eight batches, with only 7% activity lost every 24h.
