Overflow Free and Variable Precision Computing in FLATS

概要

An overflow free and variable precision computation scheme is given, to cope systematically with the troubles in numeric computation caused by fixed and incompatible bit length in number representations of existing machines. A tagged architecture and the software specification to incorporate the scheme are proposed.
