The results of exercise test with and without acetylcholine administration demonstrated the active vasoconstriction of the pulmonary arterioles and its reversibility during acetylcholine in-fusion. The exercise and acetylcholine infusion test performed during cardiac catheterization showed clinical usefullness in evaluating the pulmonary hypertension in mitral stenosis.
