The author, in a previous report made an effort to present the concept of "Pressure Efficiency in Respiration" as well as explaining the theory and showing normal values. Contriving this concept, the author began to show the relationship between examination and dyspnea in cardio-pulmonary patients. The purpose was to give a single explanation of dyspnea whether due to obstructive or restrictive impairment based on the concept of "Pressure Efficiency in Respiration". The author has shown that the comparative method of measuring the in-crease of respiratory work commonly observed in both obstructive and restrictive impairment by "Pressure Efficiency in Respiration" will produce a high level of objective validty.
