The result of a new type of antithrombotic treatment with nialamide in a group of 42 patients suffering from acute myocardial infarction was reported. In the control group of 21 patients 8 cases died, while in the nialamide group of 21 patients 1 case died. The treatment is promising through the assessment of the result by Pathologic Index Rating (Schnur^<1)>). The theoretical basis for the use of new type of antithrombotic treatment with MAO inhibitor was also detailed.
