Formative capability is a synthetic ability to express visual design, industrial art, pure art, engraving and architecture. I observed the students' formative capability through the three-years range of "practical and laboratory session", and conducted the questionnares for the students, and analyzed them. For analysis, I used Alfred Schultz philosophy, wich adopted phenomenology. The students are of less highly-motivated volition to acquire the formative capability and ther scarce sociality seems problematic. The importance of the acquisition of high sensibility by manual work is evidenced from the viewpoint of cerebral physiology. In daily life, there are less and less experience of manual work in recent years, and so high sensibility is not sharpened .This is why a high formative capability cannot be acquired.
