• There is an gradual increased demand for medical nonwoven fabrics because of its high efficiency of bacteria barrier, the easiness of disposable and the handiness of supply steriled.However surgical gowns made of nonwoven fabrics are pointed out not being comofrtable enough to wear.In the results of the flexibility test, some of nonwoven fabrics showed flexibility nearly cotton materials.On the other hand, the bended test resulted in hardiness of cotton materials.Therefore flexibility is under the influence of stiffness, thickness, weight or direction, so total examination is necessary.In the results of the liquid penetration test under the condition of the quantity of liquid, nonwoven fabrics vary in penetration time acording to the methods or the processes of manufacture.It is important for nonwoven fabrics as material for surgical gowns to have a ggod flexibility and little liquid penetration in view of safety and function.
