This paper proposes a human-machine interface system using bio-potential signals, such as EEG, EMG, and EOG, and investigates its possibility of applying to control a mobile robot. To investigate the feasibility and the characteristics of the bio-potential interface system, teleoperation experiments of the robot are carried out. By comparing the experimental results with those obtained using a conventional mouse interface, the effectiveness of the proposed system is demonstrated.
