As for the friction between flexible material e.g. rubber and the hard object, it is important to study the surface viscoelasticity characteristics at high frequency. In this report, in order to investigate the relationship between the frictional characteristics, the dynamic viscoelasticity characteristic by DMA and attenuation characteristic by supersonic measurement the evaluation were conducted. Some qualitative relationships had been found for these three measurement methods.
