In this paper, acceleration feedforward control based on adaptive identification for hard disk drives is proposed. To realize adaptive identification, external disturbance is estimated by Disturbance Observer and used for identification. By this means, the feedfoward controller can be relized without indirect calculation as conventional methods. Some experimental results where a disk drive is shaken are shown to verify the effectiveness of the proposed method.
