An improved design of piezoelectrically -driven suspension was developed to enhance magnification of stroke as well as to improve dynamic response. The design adopted flexural rotation together with rigid-body rotation to achieve stroke amplification, and its base was reinforced to increase the first tensional frequency that affects accurate HDD head positioning.
